If you're adding new seedlings that have been grown in soil/earth you MUST clean the roots by removing all traces of soil/earth before adding them to the PIP Mini Tower. The reason is, that the tower uses a tiny pump that can easily become blocked if soil is able to reach the internal workings. Whilst this pump has been recently upgraded and should pose no problem now, you should still be cautious.
